The following Code of Conduct must be agreed to by all BUSC Parents when registering their player to our club:
By registering a child to play for BUSC, we agree to learn the rules of the game and the club, and agree to comply with the following Parent Code of Conduct:
- Understand that our role as a parent or guardian is to support all players and coaches.
- Will not attempt to coach from the sidelines, nor will we criticize any player, coach or game official. Will show respect to and be courteous to all game officials, players, coaches and other spectators.
- Will engage in positive encouragement of all players and always will refrain from making negative or abusive remarks to any player.
- Will respect the game officials and refrain from questioning their decisions or from addressing them in a loud, disrespectful or abusive manner.
- Will teach and practice good sportsmanship and fair play to the players by personally demonstrating commitment to these virtues. Understand that performance is more important than winning.
We understand that if we fail to comply with this Parent Code of Conduct, then we agree to be subject to sanctions by BUSC, including possibly being prohibited from attending any BUSC activities.
We acknowledge that we have read this Code of Conduct, and the rules of BUSC and it's parent organizations, including all tryout and transfer rules, and I agree to comply with this Code of Conduct and all BUSC rules.
We understand players are only allowed to be rostered to one OSA carded team at a time.
